Our classes are ongoing and students are automatically enrolled every month. Please let us know by the last class of the month if you do not want to continue.
Build your drawing skills and boost your creativity in our Adult Sketching & Drawing Class! Designed for all skill levels, this class covers the essentials of drawing — including line, shading, proportion, perspective, and composition. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, you'll receive supportive instruction tailored to your level and goals.
Join us at Art Haus in Salt Lake City and develop your artistic confidence in a fun, welcoming environment. Students can enroll for a one-month session or continue month-to-month with a flexible membership. All materials are provided — just bring your imagination!

Materials Needed
Materials Needed:
(Note: for beginner students, all you needs to purchase are the graphite pencils, drawing pad and erasers. You can purchase more materials later when you are ready.)
- Staedler (or any brand) Graphite Pencils with the following leads: 2H, H, HB, F, 2B, 4B, 6B
- Staedler pigment liner pens, set of 4.
- General’s Charcoal Pencils with the following leads: Soft, medium, hard, and white chalk pencil
- Winsor and Newton or General’s vine charcoal pack
- Winsor and Newton or General’s compressed charcoal pack
- OR General’s Charcoal Drawing pack : https://www.dickblick.com/products/generals-charcoal-drawing-assortment/ (If you buy the pack, there is no need to buy the individual pencils or either charcoal pack).
- 18 x 24 Fine or Medium tooth WHITE Sketch or Drawing pad.
- 18x24 piece of Canson toned paper in either gray or tan.
- White rubber eraser
- General’s kneaded eraser
- General’s Factis Mechanical eraser
- Don’t forget Mechanical eraser refills!
