A Spooky Entomology & Display Workshop for Halloween
Step into the mysterious world of insects this Halloween and discover the beauty that hides in the dark.
Lurking Wings & Hidden Things is a hands-on workshop where students explore the fascinating science of entomology— the study of insects — while creating their very own artistic display.
During this immersive experience, participants will:
Learn professional insect pinning and preservation techniques
Explore insect anatomy, classification, and camouflage
Design and build a custom insect display to take home
Guided by an expert instructor, this class blends science, art, and Halloween fun — perfect for curious minds, nature lovers, and anyone drawn to the creepy-crawly side of the natural world.
All materials are provided
Each participant will leave with a completed insect display and a new appreciation for the miniature wonders that live all around us.
