This class takes place at Sugar House Park (not at the Art Haus studio). Please read below for instructions for drop-off and pick-up.
Ages 8-13
Plein Air is an amazing opportunity for kids to combine their love of art with the benefits of being outdoors! This is a fun an relaxing way to spend a sunny morning; this class will be held at Sugarhouse Park. Kids will be learning to draw and paint landscapes from real life while practicing watercolor skills. Studnets will learn different watercolor techniques like wet-on-dry, wet-on-wet, washes and more. They will complete a final masterpiece painting of the scenery they choose by the end of the week!
Kids should be dropped off at the parking lot/restrooms that are southeast of the pond at Sugar House Park. Please send your kids with snacks, a water bottle, sunscreen, or anything else they may need while sitting outside.
Customers will receive links to download the map of Sugar House Park with directions (in the thank you page of the checkout), along with an emailed link that will last for 30 days.
