NCECA Comes to Salt Lake City – An Unforgettable Experience for Our Studio
We’re still buzzing with excitement from this year’s NCECA (National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts)conference, which just wrapped up right here in our hometown of Salt Lake City, UT! Having one of the biggest ceramic events in the country come to our own backyard was a dream come true, and we’re so thrilled that many of our teachers and students got to experience it firsthand.
From the moment the conference kicked off, it was nonstop inspiration. We had the chance to meet some of our favorite ceramic artists, attend hands-on pottery workshops, and explore cutting-edge tools and technologies that are shaping the future of ceramics. It was amazing to see how the pottery community continues to innovate while staying grounded in the traditions we love.
For our students and instructors, it was more than just a conference—it was a chance to connect with the broader ceramics world, get inspired by new techniques, and bring fresh ideas back into the studio. The energy was contagious, and we’re already seeing it reflected in the creativity flowing through our classes.
Whether you’re just starting your pottery journey or you’ve been throwing for years, events like NCECA remind us how special and vibrant this community really is. We feel incredibly lucky to have been a part of it—and even luckier to share that passion with all of you.
